BEHIND THE SCENES
Welcome to Camp Brigitte and Nathalie's fabulous creations.
Camp Brigitte was built after my mother Brigitte Boivin, a residential school survivor passed away suddenly in 2012. Brigitte and her siblings were taken from their home and placed into a residential school. Brigitte and some of her siblings, out of (23) siblings, I am unsure of how many were taken. Brigitte loved the great outdoors and to spend time with family and friends. In 2014, my husband Henri and I decided to build a Camp in our backyard, located on our 40 acres. We found the perfect location to build, along with his brother Richard, his friends, Doug and Marc and our sons Michel, Daniel and Benoit we built the perfect little get away. On the premises, we also have a little gift shop with plenty of handmade gifts and a variety of Camp Brigitte merchandise, made or created by myself. My name is Nathalie, the designer, the creator, the hands on owner. I do it all, behind the scenes; advertising, bookkeeping, secretary, housekeeper, artist, web designer, landscaper in the summer, purchaser, and so on... Shelley, our foster daughter is also here to help with housekeeping and yard maintenance.
Camp Brigitte is available for overnight stays during spring, Summer and fall through AIRBNB or directly, later fall we are hosts for white tail deer hunters.
In the winter we offer tube sliding from 10am-2:30pm for classrooms, and evenings from 6:30-9:30pm Monday to Friday.
On weekends, we can do outdoor private parties in the winter we have several time slots available 11-2, 2:30-5:30, 6-9.
During summer we are available from 1 to 4 for kids birthday parties.
NATIVE GAUNTLETS CUSTOMIZED OR CLASSES
I started to make mitts about 10 years ago but just recently started to make Native Gauntlets with real suede and fur. Every pair of mitts that I sew are unique and will last you a lifetime. They are by far the warmest mitts I've ever owned.
Do you want your students to learn how to make their own? I am willing to come teach them. Contact me for more information.

Tube sliding
Camp Brigitte offers fun activities during the winter months. Bring your friends, your family members for a few hours at the perfect sliding hill. Our cabin is turned into a sitting room only, the bonfire is ready for those marshmallows and the tubes are ready to bring you down to the bottom of our big hill. Tons of laughter and fun to be had, bring your 2 classes for a full day of outdoor activity, guaranteed the children will get exercise and fresh air.
Book that birthday party, your child will love it. Children play on the hill with the rental tubes provided with the package, firewood for the bonfire that we start for you, and the cabin can sit up to 22 comfortably. Bookings for birthday parties are for 3 hours, includes 6 large tubes, firewood, drinking water, coffee and tea for a low price of $165
More tubes can be rented at $5 each
Your own snowmachine is also allowed on the premises.
